Memories from the three-day 2nd Annual Lagos Conference

“In the Imagination of Yoruba people, Lagos has always been a megacity, long before the appellation was ascribed to it few years back….” P/phrasing Dr. Oyeronke Oyewunmi (Stony Brook University, USA), in the closing session of the three-day 2nd Annual Lagos Conference, organised by The Lagos Studies Association and the Faculty of Arts, University of Lagos.
It has been a rich and resourceful three-day gathering of very stipulating expositions, debates and exchange of ideas on the very nature and essences of Lagos.

“If Nigeria desires to have everlasting peace, Lagos holds the key”, p/phrasing Olasupo Shasore SAN (former Attorney General of Lagos; partner, Africa Law Practice, Lagos) speaking in the closing panel of the 2nd Annual Lagos Conference, which held June 15-17 at the Faculty of Arts, University of Lagos.

Conference was organised by Lagos Studies Association & the Faculty of Arts, University of Lahos.
